THE Rotary Club of Ocean Grove will host an information night next month to discuss Identifying Family Violence and the avenues available for assistance on the Bellarine.
More than 1,155 women received family violence case management in the Geelong region in 2018 (The SAFV Centre 2018 Annual Report) and the statistics around family violence in Australia are alarming.
Representatives from The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre and Victoria Police Family Violence Unit Geelong will be presenting information on identifying family violence and the services that are available for assistance.
The evening is open to the general public and organisers look forward to your support in promoting awareness around services provided in the region.
The event will be held on Tuesday November 19 at the Pavilion on Shell Road between 7pm and 9pm.
A light supper will be provided.
