Feedback sought on redeveloped St Leonards Skate Park
THE City of Greater Geelong is seeking community feedback on its recent upgrades to St Leonards Skate Park.
An online survey will help the city continue shaping the park into a thrilling and safe environment for all to enjoy.
The $670,000 redeveloped skate park opened in December last year after two years of community consultation and design with local residents.
The park boasts a range of new features designed to cater for skaters, BMX enthusiasts, scooter riders and inline skaters.
Geelong mayor Trent Sullivan said community feedback would be key, even know the project is complete.
“Your insights will help us better understand the impact of the upgrades and guide future enhancements across our wide range of skate facilities.
“We look forward to hearing your thoughts.”
Bellarine Ward councillor Elise Wilkinson said the council was committed to creating vibrant and engaging spaces for residents.
“Whether you have been a long-time skate park user or are excited to explore the new additions, your feedback will contribute to the ongoing improvement of our recreational spaces.
“We encourage everyone to participate in the evaluation survey.”
