FESTIVAL MUSSELS FUNDING INTO SCHOOL

The Portarlington Mussel Festival committee has continued its commitment to the Bellarine community with a donation to Portarlington Primary School. The mussel festival has now donated more than $150,000 back into its community. Festival president Richard Underwood recently presented a cheque to school captains Brock and Mea and principal Lesley- Ann Allbutt, which will enable them to purchase books for their new library. Mr Underwood encouraged everyone to attend the 13th annual Portarlington Mussel Festival on January 12.
