First cruise ship docks at Geelong

THE first cruise ship of the season docked in Geelong at the weekend.

Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine volunteers were down at the yacht club on Saturday ready to meet and greet passengers as they disembarked and embarked the ship.

Passengers were given information sheets on things to do within the region, and there was a shuttle bus with a visitor guide that took them to places around central Geelong, including the gardens, Geelong Gallery and National Wool Museum.

Central Geelong Christmas elves were also present, offering walking tours to the Christmas highlights around Geelong.
