A FLORAL High Tea at Portarlington Football Netball Club this weekend will support the Bellarine Salvation Army.

The Ladies Day event hosted by the netball committee on Saturday, May 26 will raise funds and awareness of “wellbeing and health” services in the community, in particular the Salvos Bellarine Outreach Van.

The van and its volunteers provide care packs, hot food, blankets and further access to trauma, counselling, relief, housing and rehabilitation services for people suffering social poverty and homelessness on the Bellarine.

Guest speaker Captain Peter Hobbs will lead the event and give guests an insight to their services.

The event promises to be an afternoon of fun games and a frenzy to purchase and place $1 tickets into draws of beautiful displayed raffle hampers.

The Floral High Tea will be held from 2pm to 5pm.

If you are in a position to donate product or a voucher toward the fundraiser, phone Taryn on 0432 066 058.
