Footy Ferries are back in 2024
THIS year, Port Phillip Ferries is shaking things up with their Footy Ferries.
Keep an eye out for the launch of some exciting “Special Services” tailored for the big games, like Easter Monday, set to be unveiled on the website soon.
However, for most of the year the Footy Ferry Specials will be running out of Portarlington using the regular ferry timetable.
Using these services allows for more time getting to the grounds from the Melbourne Ferry Terminal and getting back to the ferry after the game.
This timetable also caters for more games and more teams, which is great for a wider range of supporters – plus there’s a lot more parking available in Portarlington so it makes getting to and from the ferry a lot easier.
Also, this year there is a brand-new range of discounted “Game Day Packs” that are designed exclusively for the Footy Ferry Specials.
Each Game Day pass consists of an all-in-one return trip from Portarlington and back on the same day. Available for purchase in three and five game bundles, you’ll have the choice to purchase single Adult Packs or various configurations of family packs, whether you want to add one child or two.
Either way, these “Game Day Packs” will have you paying a lot less per trip than purchasing tickets separately.
