Free ice cream for Avalon fliers
TO CELEBRATE the launch of of the new Dooley’s Ice Cream shop at Avalon Airport, every traveller will enjoy ice cream for free this weekend.
Avalon Airport chief of aviation Andrew Elliott said: “With all the challenges that travellers have been facing these school holidays, we wanted to create a fun experience for people flying in and out of Avalon Airport. So the ice cream is on us!”
For the past 22 years Dooley’s Ice Cream in Apollo Bay has been making award winning ice cream, in keeping with supporting local businesses, and are just one of the local producers Avalon Airport serve in its airport cafes.
The free ice cream will be available at Dooley’s inside Avalon Airport’s domestic terminal from Friday, July 8 until Sunday, July 10 from between noon-4pm each day. One ice cream per person, until stock runs out.
