It’s all fruity and juicy in the arcade

THE Ocean Grove Arcade has a fresh new look with the newly introduced Ocean Grove Juice Crew.

Located behind the Ocean Grove Fruit Crew shop, the new juice bar has been enticing locals and tourists alike for just over two weeks now, with juices, smoothies and ice crushers.

Flavours include strawberry slam, mango madness and watermelon crush, or customers have the option to choose their own yummy blends.

Owners of the Ocean Grove Fruit Crew and now the Juice Crew Darren and Carolyn Gregory have seen an increase in customers every day since opening and predict it will only get busier.

“It’s been going really well,” Darren said.

“Our fresh juices seem to be the most popular, followed by our delicious smoothies.

“Since we took over the fruit shop just over a year ago we’ve wanted to open a juice bar, and it’s proved very popular.

“One of our biggest differences, which I think locals and visitors appreciate, is that we only use fresh fruit and vegetables. There aren’t any syrups, it’s straight from our fruit shop.”

There over 20 flavours across the four varieties of drinks, including a kids menu.

Wraps, sandwiches and sweet healthy treats are also available to accompany the wide range of juices and smoothies.

“During winter we plan to provide soups too. The juice bar will be run all year round, with a few changes to the menu depending on the season,” Darren said.

“We’re proud to be able to employ around 18 to 24 locals each year too.”
