Fun galore at Toy Library birthday

The Mik Maks got the kids up and about.

The Surf Coast Toy Library celebrated its 23rd birthday with the Surf Coast community and pulled out all the stops throughout the festivities. Committee member Chantal Nottage-Siket said cakes, a bubble machine, face painting, plus all the library’s toys were out for kids to enjoy. “It was a fantastic community event that helped generate awareness about our toy library. There was over 100 people in attendance, the bubble machine was going, and kids were getting their face’s painted,” she said. “The more members we have the more toys we are able to provide. We were also showcasing our new sensory toy range (that we purchased with a grant we received from the shire), so people were happy to see that.” For more information on the toy library find them on Facebook or go to surfcoasttoylibrary.com.au.
