Fundraiser to deliver a plus to locals with disability

HUNDREDS of people will gather on Friday, September 27 to raise much needed funds for Kids+ at its annual Grand Final Eve Luncheon.

The annual event at the Pier in Geelong is a staple on the local social calendar and will see women from across the region come together for an inclusive day of festivities.

Funds raised on the day will enable Kids+ to continue providing paediatric physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work and support coordination for babies, children and young adults with disabilities.

Kids+ marketing manager Sharon Gibbons said the day promised to enrich the lives of all involved.

“We will hear from a very special, well-known local family on their Kids+ experience, and we hope that our fundraiser will help us to continue to bring vital services to our local community.

“We encourage you to snap up a last-minute ticket for a wonderful day out, supporting a great cause.”

Roxie Bennett will be the master of ceremonies, while Good Faces for Radio and Gospel Sunday singers will form the live entertainment.

Raffle prizes and auctions will be up for grabs on the day.
