In a slight departure from the traditional Deakin University Theatre Season, audiences can expect the Winter Escape Season to take them on an extraordinary journey from opera, theatre and comedy, to quirky cabaret and one of our First People’s most illuminating voices.

Archie Roach, Silvie Paladino, Jessie Lloyd and Isaiah Firebrace feature on the program, as well as Belloo Creative, Company 13, Griffen Theatre Company and Ten Tonne Sparrow.

Sue and Justin Hartnett.

Opera Australia performing Carmen and a dinner and show from Tenacious at The Pier will round out the program which promises to help audiences escape away from even the dreariest of winter days.

The season commences on May 29 and tickets are limited to up to 100 per performance so early bookings are recommended. Bookings can be made via the website, or by phoning the box office on 1300 251 200. COVIDSafe measures apply.
