GEELONG LEADERS SLEEP OUT FOR A CAUSE
More than 60 leaders from the Geelong community braved the cold for one night last week to raise awareness and money for poverty and homelessness issues across the Geelong region. GMHBA Stadium hosted regional Victoria’s first CEO Sleepout in the concourse of the Brownlow Stand, which raised $112,455 for the work of St Vincent De Paul. Participants included Surf Coast Shire chief executive officer Keith Baillie, Kardinia Park Stadium Trust chief executive officer Michael Brown, former Geelong mayor Keith Fagg, Victorian magistrate Simon Guthrie, Barwon Water chair Jo Plummer and Geelong Racing Club chief executive Daniel Salter.
