Geelong Rainbow Festival returns to Johnstone Park
THE annual Geelong Rainbow Festival is headed for Johnstone Park tomorrow (Saturday, February 17), beginning with a pride march.
The event run by local group Geelong Rainbow celebrates the diversity and uniqueness with a space aimed at engaging the LGBTQIA+ community.
Hosted by “glambassador” Goldie Cox, the festival will have a range of entertainment for both children and adults, including drag, acoustic music and spoken word with performances from 2Joocee and Izzy Inyette.
There will also be market stalls and food trucks for attendees.
The pride march starts at 10am and leaves from Johnstone Park, before returning at 11am for the festival.
