MELI is inviting children and families to get involved in the Meli Kids’ Run in Anglesea as part of the Surf Coast Century ultra-marathon this Sunday, September 22.

Meli loves seeing active children and involving them in all things fun in the local community.

The Meli Kids’ Run will be conducted on a 2.5km circular course along Anglesea Main Beach and the Anglesea River, and is designed especially for everyone from kindergarten pupils to children aged up to 12.

Every child who participates will receive a special race plate, ribbon and badge.

Spot prizes will be awarded and there is access to on-site food and a coffee van.

Marshals will be positioned in key places to encourage participants along the way, and parents can run with their children.

Meli advises that this run is not a race and will not be timed, and is purely participation-based to get children involved in the inspiring event weekend.

A portion of the sign-up fee from each runner will be raising awareness and funds for Meli’s Foster Care Appeal.

Participants can pre-register online or sign up on the morning.

The Meli Kids’ Run will start and finish on Anglesea Main Beach this Sunday, September 22 from 9am.

The entry fee is $10.
