BUSINESS owners operating out of the Bellarine and beyond can look forward to a fun event full of insight and gifts tonight (November 25) at the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club.

The Christmas Gifts for Businesses event taking place at the Ocean Grove SLSC will encompass an evening “filled with gifts” from a panel of inspirational speakers who will share their insights and best practices for business and personal growth in 2022.

Event organiser and local owner of Viewpoint Digital Media, Dominique Ho, promises the night will be one of engagement and support, while also giving back to the local surf lifesaving club.

“It’s all about supporting local business and creating a little bit of brand awareness as well as good vibes,” Ms Ho said.

“It is going to be awesome to have lots of businesses, big or small, come together to support each other.

“We are all in this together, we have all got our own stuff going on, and it will be great for as many local businesspeople to attend and network.”

Ms Ho will be one of the five panel speakers on the night sharing strategies she has learned from a digital marking perspective.

This also includes the ways local businesses can engage with its audience and thinking outside the box with a business’s media assets.

Kirsten Macdonald from Ponderings Magazine will be another local speaker on the panel for tonight’s event, divulging her secrets in storytelling to increase a business’s bottom line.

Ms Macdonald sees the Christmas Gifts for Businesses event as a wonderful opportunity to inject inspiration into the local community as well as the region.

“Everybody has been through such a difficult time so to add some positivity back into the community is fantastic,” Ms Macdonald said.

“The speakers involved are all fairly inspiring people and it is more than just a learning experience.

These are real nuggets of information that local businesses, all the way to Geelong, can use.

“It also means a lot to us that the Ocean Grove SLSC is allowing us to use its space given how much they contribute to our town and community.”

Sally Wilson from I Am Sally Wilson (Change Coach), Mark Edmonds from MRE Consulting (Business Advisor) and Brenton Dunn from PTP Accounting (Business Accountant) will form the rest of the panel.
