NEXT week, Cottage by the Sea is holding a Giving Day that will harness the generosity of its supporters to raise funds for the ever increasing numbers of children and families in need.

On Tuesday, March 7, each individual donation will be matched by a group of generous matching donors who, on this day, will double the impact.

With your help, Cottage by the Sea can help even more children and families.

Be a part of positive change when donating to the Queenscliff-based charity on Giving Day.

“We have been busier than ever with the number of children participating across the broad range of programs offered by the Cottage, starting with primary students on Take a Break through to the secondary students on our Mentor program,” Cottage by the Sea chief executive officer Adam Wake said.

“With the generous support of the donations received on our Giving Day, we will be able to give more children more fun, more inspiration, and more opportunity.

“The need for family respite holidays, something we started in 2020 out of the Riptide Cottage, is also increasing.”

Each individual donation to Cottage by the Sea on March 7 will be matched by a group of generous donors.

Throughout 2023 and beyond, the Cottage will continue to welcome groups from regions impacted, and still recovering, from the bushfires and last year’s floods.

Along with children from across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The world-class experience of a Cottage program gives these children access to opportunities they would otherwise never have  – opportunities and experiences that will increase their confidence and give them hope for a better future.
