Grove real estate agency builds on surf club donations

OCEAN Grove Surf Life Saving Club has received a welcome donation of $1,400 from local real estate agency Ocean Grove Real Estate.

The donation comes as the club officially opened its new surf beach complex on Sunday.

After a solid campaign over the month of June, Ocean Grove Real Estate enlisted the support of the Ocean Grove community to assist in the donation.

The agency offered a $50 donation for every property appraisal completed in the month of June.

With a great response from the community, Ocean Grove Real Estate has donated $1,400 to the club.

Agent Jacob Platt said it was a fantastic result and that the community really got behind them, while agent Mark Blaskovic said it was really important to give to a local organisation with close community ties.

The donation couldn’t have come at a better time with final works and furnishings still to be completed to the new facilities at the club.

With 1,000 members involved in the Surf Life Saving Club and growing, the donation will support tireless work of the club.
