Guide to attract more visitors

TOURISM Greater Geelong and The Bellarine launched its Official Visitor Guide (OVG) and Official Touring Map for the region last week.

The OVG and Touring Maps are distributed to Visitor Information Centres throughout Victoria, delegates at in-region conferences and major events, Melbourne and Avalon Airports, major transport hubs in the region and local attractions and accommodation venues to name a few.

The guides and maps were officially launched with AirAsia Cabin Crew having them on hand in the arrivals/departure lounge at Avalon Airport.

More than 100,000 copies of each publication was printed, highlighting the fact that demand for hard copy information is not diminishing.

The front covers of both publications were taken by local photographers, Ash Hughes (Official Visitor Guide) and Peter Taylor (Official Touring Map).
