Highly anticipated BYD seven-seater arrives at BYD Geelong

THE all-new BYD SEALION 8 has arrived in Geelong. This Super Hybrid seven-seater SUV is the brand’s first seven-seat model and the first one to be introduced to the range on BYD’s advanced DM-P* Platform.

“It’s a very attractive price point for a plug-in hybrid seven-seat vehicle and as a result we have been inundated with enquiry. It’s designed for those who need more space and don’t wish to compromise on comfort and performance,” she said.

The SEALION 8 is available in three variants, Dynamic Front Wheel Drive, Dynamic All-Wheel Drive and Premium All-Wheel Drive with both AWD variants offering up to 152km in electric driving range NEDC.

The highlights are extensive, with acceleration from 0–100km/h in 4.9 seconds, 10-point massaging seats and heated and ventilated seats in both the front and second row to make every journey feel first class.

A 21-speaker surround sound system further enhances the cabin experience. The technology is equally impressive with a 26-inch ultra-wide head-up display, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 15.6-inch infotainment screen with intuitive controls.

It’s also the first BYD in Australia to offer dedicated Nap, Camping and Car Wash modes.

This SUV is crafted for comfort and offers a powerful yet refined drive with a bold new design direction featuring the latest evolution of the ‘Dragon Face’ aesthetics that is designed to be as imposing as it is distinctive.
