THE Good Friday Appeal is on the hunt for families across Victoria as it launches its search for the 2026 Faces of the Appeal.
Families with children aged between two and 12 who have been cared for by the Royal Children’s Hospital are invited to apply.
As the faces for the appeal they will help share stories of resilience and hope and help the community understand the impact their donations make.
“The Faces of the Appeal tell the stories of courage, determination and the world-class care delivered every day at the Royal Children’s Hospital,” Good Friday Appeal executive director Rebecca Cowan said.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the families who are willing to share their stories to inspire others to give.”
Children selected in 2026 will represent the Good Friday Appeal through media opportunities, fundraising campaigns and key community events.
For those selected they will have a network of support from past families and experiences including the Channel 7 telethon, running on the ground at the Superclash at Marvel Stadium, and more.
The Good Friday Appeal is also looking for families who are open to sharing their stories as event ambassadors, attending community events, or supporting partner activities during fundraising moments.
The 2026 appeal will mark its 95th year of supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital, celebrating the generosity of the community while raising critical funds.
More than $23 million was raised in 2025 thanks to the efforts of communities, businesses and individuals, with the funds going towards life-saving equipment, groundbreaking research, family-centred care programs and staff education and training.
Applications are open now to be the face of the 2026 appeal and will close on August 24.
