A local session will be held at the Potato Shed, Peninsula Drive, Drysdale on Tuesday June 25 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Sessions are free, but bookings are required. Free community forums about Royal Commission

BELLARINE Community Health in partnership with COTA Victoria are conducting two free community forums on the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. Come along to an interactive community forum that will help you understand what the Royal Commission into Aged Care is about and find out how to write your submission. Forums are at Point Lonsdale Primary School on July 10 from 10.30am to 12.30pm and Portarlington Football and Netball Club on July 17 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Torquay resident wins $200,000 in lottery

A TORQUAY resident has declared he’s had a “pretty good” start to the weekend after scoring $200,000 in Friday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw. The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, won the guaranteed first prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1342. He was completely oblivious to his good fortune until a Tatts official broke the news to him on Friday afternoon, and said he would probably invest the money.
