Jump on the free bus to Q&A in Melbourne
YOU’VE argued with the TV set and joined the Twitter conversation – now be part of the studio audience with a special free bus from Torquay for a taping of Q&A in Melbourne next month featuring Corangamite federal member Sarah Henderson.
Hosted by Tony Jones, ABC program Q&A is the talk show where the audience asks the questions of our politicians, pundits and opinion-makers.
On July 2, the ABC will provide a free return bus service leaving Torquay at about 7pm, leaving after the show at the ABC’s Southbank studio at about 10.45pm.
As well as Ms Henderson, the July 2 episode will feature Ballarat Labor federal member and Shadow Minister for Health and Medicare Catherine King, as well as three other panellists to be confirmed.
Register your interest online by heading to abc.net.au/qanda and click on “Join the studio audience”. In question 15, please write “SURF COAST TIMES – TORQUAY BUS”.
If you do not have access to a computer, phone Tara Thomas on 8333 4329.
Be quick, as seats will fill up fast.
Ms Henderson previously appeared on Q&A in an episode filmed at the Geelong Performing Arts Centre in June 2014, alongside Labor MP Richard Marles, Greens Senator Richard Di Natale, former City of Greater Geelong mayor Darryn Lyons and G21 chief executive officer Elaine Carbines.
