Junior Cats members flock to clinic
THE Cats were playing away this week but about 500 people took the chance to come through the gates of GMHBA Stadium for the club’s annual junior members clinic.
Drills and activities were spread right across the oval on Wednesday morning, as most of the Cats’ senior list joined in to help youngsters improve their kicking, handballing, tackling, marking and running skills.
Geelong ruckman Rhys Stanley was among the players who ran the drills.
“It’s always good to get the kids out to GMHBA Stadium,” he said. “We had another clinic last week, which is good fun, and obviously the weather’s turned it on today for the school holidays.”
