Juniors break course records at open

The Junior Vic Open has been on this week at 13th Beach and Barwon Heads golf courses, and course records have tumbled.

On the second day of the competition on Tuesday, Yuka Saso (Philippines) broke the course record at Barwon Heads with a 66, while on the Creek Course at 13th Beach Hannah Park shot a 65.

The previous Barwon Heads course record holder was Stacey Keating with 68, who went on to win the 2013 Victorian Open. Keating has also twice won on the European Tour.

She held the Barwon Heads’ course record for a decade, with a 68 carded on December 15, 2007.
