Kids explore the sea this summer
KIDS explored the wonders that live in an around the mud during a Summer by the Sea activity earlier this week.
Alex Giannuzzi from the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre in Queenscliff was on hand to help the children search for crabs, snails, worms and amazing amphipods in the unique Swan Bay environment.
Summer by the Sea, now in its 24th year, allows people of all ages and interests to take part in fun, interactive activities, while showcasing all the Bellarine’s coastline has to offer.
More than 850 people participated in activities in the first week of the program along Victoria’s coastline.
