Kingston Haven playground now open to the community
The newly completed parkland delivers a significant community asset, featuring an impressive 14,000m of green space and a dedicated playground and picnic precinct.
KINGSTON Ocean Grove is pleased to announce the opening of the new Kingston Haven parkland and playground, located on Esperence Crescent within the Kingston Haven estate in Ocean Grove.
The newly completed parkland delivers a significant community asset, featuring an impressive 14,000m of green space, including new wetlands, generous grassed open areas and a dedicated playground and picnic precinct – all now open for local families to enjoy.
Designed to support active play, outdoor exploration and family connection, the new space includes a custom, multi-age play centre featuring:
Two play towers with stair access
Three slides, including a large tube slide and dual-slides suited to younger children
Monkey bars and climbing net
Inclusive carousel
Swings for toddlers and older children
Nature play area, and
Picnic bench and seating
The playground is complemented by extensive landscaping, wetlands and open green spaces that encourage relaxation, social interaction and healthy outdoor activity.
“Kingston Haven Playground is all about giving local families a safe, welcoming place to come together, be active and feel part of their community,” Kingston Ocean Grove director, Jason Corless, said. “We know how important local parks are for children’s wellbeing and for creating connections between neighbours.
