Leopold bank delivers Easter funds to the kids

WITH Leopold’s annual Kid’s Day Out not going ahead this year, the Leopold Bendigo Bank Community Branch has donated funds in lieu to the Barwon Health Foundation Kids Appeal.

Leopold Community Enterprises chairperson Lily Reinert said the appeal was raising funds for a brand new rehabilitation centre at Grace McKellar for the Geelong and surrounding communities’ children and youth.

“This exciting new project will only be possible with local support and will be fully funded by the community,” Ms Reinert said.

“Given we could not support the Leopold Kid’s Day out event for different reasons this year, we see this appeal as equally important on a local basis, therefore we were happy to contribute to it.”

A presentation was held at the Grace McKellar centre, where Ms Reinert, on behalf of the company donated $2,500 towards the appeal.
