Leopold library to open by year’s end
THE Leopold Community Hub and Library development is expected to be complete in about four months.
City of Greater Geelong director of city services Guy Wilson-Browne said construction of stage two of the Leopold Community Hub, which includes both the library and community rooms, was scheduled for opening late November to early December 2018.
“The works are progressing well, with plastering, electrical fit out, painting, landscaping and joinery installation currently underway,” Mr Wilson-Browne said.
“Once complete, the state-of-the-art community facility will host a range of community services and groups, including the Leopold Library, Leopold Community and Learning Centre and the Leopold Seniors.”
