Leopold lights will come on

LEOPOLD’s Estuary Reserve is guaranteed lights after Labor pledged $225,000 earlier this week if it was re-elected.

The announcement comes after the Liberal Nationals promised their government would put $270,000 towards the installation of lights earlier this month.

The new lights will benefit local teams, including FC Leopold (soccer) and the Leopold Cricket Club.

“These upgrades will mean local athletes have the facilities they need, day and night,” Bellarine MP Lisa Neville said.

“Sport is a big part of who we are as a community, and I know how much this investment will mean to local families in Leopold.”
