THE Borough of Queenscliffe has partnered with the Business Hub at Queenscliff Marina to present two key events within the 2018 Geelong Small Business Festival this month.

Council has worked closely with region organisers, City of Greater Geelong and Small Business Victoria, to deliver this year’s jam-packed program across Geelong, the Surf Coast and the Bellarine, so that local businesses can reap the benefits of more than 50 events.

The festival events are aimed at providing local operators with affordable access to quality training and development opportunities to help improve, grow, upskill and strengthen their small business. Smashing your social with killer video content is on Friday August 10 from 10am to 12pm.

Learn how to quickly and easily create engaging, budget-friendly videos that capture your audience’s attention, showcase your message and drive sales. Workplace Wellbeing – What makes a mentally healthy workplace? is on Thursday August 16 from 10am to 11.30am.

Presented by mental health consultant Kate Meadows from Be More Mindful, this inspiring session will guide participants to a better understanding of workplace wellbeing and build capacity to help others.

Borough of Queenscliffe events cost $25 plus a small booking fee and include morning tea, and there are some fantastic door prizes on offer.
