Local organisations among the state’s highest achievers

The MSRF Dream Seeds Program of Ocean Grove won the South West TAFE & Deakin University South West Regional Achiever Award.

TWO local organisations brought home awards from the prestigious 2018 Regional Achievement and Community Awards last month.

More than 400 guests attended the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner at Flemington – The Event Centre, on October 26, to celebrate regional Victoria’s high achievers.

MSRF Dream Seeds Program of Ocean Grove won the South West TAFE & Deakin UniversitySouth West Regional Achiever Award, while the Leopold Men’s Shed won the Henry Carus & Associates and Life Activities Clubs Victoria Senior Achievement Award. Winners each received $2,000 into an account in their name from Bank of Melbourne or air time packages on PRIME7 and a trophy.

MSRF Dream Seeds Program was announced as the Parks Victoria People’s Choice Award Winner and received a voucher for a two-night stay for two people in one of Parks Victoria’s Wilderness Retreats at Wilsons Promontory National Park.

The Awards night culminated a tremendouslysuccessful year with hundreds of nominations received from across regional Victoria.
