Lonnie surf club celebrates its volunteers

POINT Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club congratulated and thanked a large number of its dedicated volunteers at its 70th anniversary Annual Presentation Night last week.

Lots of members packed into the club rooms, along with Borough of Queenscliff mayor Susan Salter, local MPs Lisa Neville and Simon Ramsay, and Katrina Antony from Life Saving Victoria.

Awards included Club Person of the Year, which went to Charlie Pitney and Tim Harrison (joint winners); Club Captain’s Award that went to Annabelle McPhail; and Trainer of the Year, which went to Millie Larsen and Darryl Mayman (joint winners).
