Loz looking for support to fulfil fundraiser vision

February 23, 2018 BY

Loz Hardman is organising a local fundraising event for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.

LEOPOLD mum Loz Hardman is planning a family fun day this year that will raise money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.

A cancer survivor herself, Mrs Hardman envisages that the event will be held in October and will include live bands, children’s activities and food vans.

“I’m inspired by the work of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and wanted to support them,” Mrs Hardman said.

“The more people that know about the foundation, the greater their impact.”

Mrs Hardman is no stranger to organising events after she stepped into the manager position for last year’s Bellarine Relay For Life at Leopold Primary School.

Mrs Hardman has since resigned from the RFL committee to focus on her own dream of organising a fundraiser that raises money for cancer research.

She is now on the search for some other like-minded people who will support her vision.

She is looking for volunteers to help with the planning of the event, an insurance broker to donate public liability insurance and some sponsors to jump on board.
