CONSTRUCTION has started on learning space and classroom upgrades at Wallington Primary School, with the new facilities expected to be completed later this year.

The school received $2.1 million in the 2023–24 state budget for the project, which includes work on the site’s main building.

The school previously secured more than $180,000 to build an inclusive playground through the Inclusive Schools Fund, which was completed in 2024.

Minister for Education Ben Carroll said the new facilities would help the school be better equipped to prepare students for the 21st century.

“We’re investing in more educational facilities for students in Wallington so that every student has the best learning facilities.”
