Makers’ market has fun in the sun
THE Bellarine Community Makers’ Market was on again at Ocean Grove Park with revellers relieved to be out and about in cooler weather.
With more than 20 local quality craft stalls and more than 25 food stalls, crowds seized the opportunity to buy an array of craft items, plants and produce.
Organiser Sally Waites said it was another fantastic event and despite not being as big as the previous month, the market still drew a steady crowd.
“The variety on offer was fantastic as always and everything is produced by talented local people, the weather was great for a market, not too hot,” Ms Waites said.
“All in all it was a good day. The Makers’ Market will take place at the start of each season and the Bellarine Community Farmers’ Market will continue to run monthly.”
