The Seagulls hosted a 25-year reunion for its reserves and senior premiership teams from 1993.

RENOWNED AFL journalist Mike Sheahan was the highlight of Barwon Heads Football and Netball Club’s inaugural “Captains Club” luncheon at the weekend.

A big crowd attended the event at At The Heads restaurant on Saturday, where popular media personality Ian Cover interviewed Mike “on the sofa”.

Ian and Mike entertained with interesting and fascinating insights into the AFL and VFL football eras, including many of Mike’s “top 50s”.

Their humorous and engaging demeanour made for great entertainment, supported by an excellent meal.

After question time, with some interesting intuition from Peter from Peterbourgh, the attendees walked across to Harmer Reserve to continue their day supporting Barwon Heads in their impressive win over Geelong Amateurs.

MEANWHILE, the Seagulls also hosted a 25-year reunion for its past players at the Beach House in Barwon Heads on Saturday.
