Midwinter Words a sell-out

PORTARLINGTON’S annual literary event, Midwinter Words, sold out at the weekend.

The challenging subjects of developing the writer’s voice and publishing were covered by Dr Lee Kofman in an all-day workshop at Park’s Hall.

Participants then shared their writing from the workshop the next day at a breakfast at Saints & Sailors Seafood Bar & Grill.

Organisers Jenny Macaulay and Pearl Wilson are already planning next year’s event plus other writing activities throughout the year.
