Mike Smith to speak at council’s second AGM
BELLARINE resident and owner of the historic Spray Farm Mike Smith will speak at the Bellarine Community Council’s second Annual General Meeting next week.
Held at Clifton Springs Golf Club on Thursday November 22, Mr Smith will focus on the “The Future for the Bellarine”.
During the AGM, members, prospective members and interested parties will have the opportunity to hear about what BCC has completed during the past 12 months and to be part of the plan for the future. This meeting provides an opportunity to join the BCC Board and Pillar groups that aim to make a difference to the quality of life on The Bellarine.
Recent announcements of planning changes by both major political parties, and the adoption of a new Settlement Strategy by Geelong Council, mean that the next 12 months will decide the nature of The Bellarine for future generations.
Be part of the effort to ensure that the Bellarine remains the place you want to live.
To assist in planning for the night, please RSVP by November 15, by emailing [email protected] – include your name, home address and/or email, and phone number.
The AGM is at Clifton Springs Golf Club, 92 Clearwater Drive. Be there at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. The meeting should finish at 9pm.
