Shining, shimmering, splendid: Moonlight Cinema at The Point
MOVIE lovers can rejoice, unravel their picnic rugs and enjoy a movie under the stars at the sixth Moonlight Cinema event, at The Point in Point Lonsdale.
The popular evening returns on January 3 with Disney favourite Aladdin, hosted by property developers Moremac Property Group, the event has proven a family favourite over the years.
Watch as a star-studded cast tell the classic tale of a kind-hearted street urchin and a power-hungry Grand Vizier as they vie for a magic lamp with the power to make their deepest wishes come true.
Enjoy complimentary movie snacks including popcorn, fairy floss and soft serve ice cream or something a little meatier with a free barbeque operated by the Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club.
Moremac Property Group director Bryce Moore said he was looking forward to this year’s instalment.
“It’s great to see this community event turn into a yearly tradition. We see more and more people come down each year to enjoy a night out and catch up with neighbours after the busy Christmas season,” Mr Moore said.
“We are excited to see Aladdin on the big screen, it will be one of the best movies we have screened so far.”
Tickets to the event are free but must be acquired before the event.
To secure your tickets, please visit the land sales office located at 88-90 Point Boulevard, Point Lonsdale; Aladdin will screen at The Point Park, corner of Coquina Drive and Point Boulevard, from 7pm.
