Nankervis brings the wit to Lit Fest trivia
TICKETS are on sale for the Queenscliffe Literary Festival’s second annual trivia night, with the event to raise funds to support the running of this year’s festival.
Brian Nankervis, the co-creator of music quiz show RocKwiz, will return as host, once again bringing his trademark energy and flair to the Queenscliff Town Hall.
The fundraiser, to be held on Saturday, July 19, follows QLF’s highly successful trivia night debut last year, which sold-out almost a month out from the event.

QLF general manager Kirsty Wilson described last year’s fundraiser as “the social event of the year” and promised this year’s event would be just as high-spirited.
“We had locals grooving on chairs to Dancing Queen, Elvis and Mick Jagger impressions, great raffle prizes, local and international trivia, and all-round excellent entertainment,” she said.
“This year is set to be just as riotously fun.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring their dancing shoes, a picnic supper, credit card for the bar and gold coins for games, and brush up on their knowledge of “weird and wonderful” trivia from the Bellarine, Australia and the world.
The Queenscliffe Literary Festival will run from October 17 to October 26. For more information, or to purchase tickets, head to queenscliffeliteraryfestival.com.au
