TOAST to the Coast returns this year with a new format.
Held over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, this iconic two-day festival is one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar, showcasing the very best cool-climate wines and gourmet food from around the Bellarine Peninsula, Moorabool Valley and Surf Coast.
Held on Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3, Day One will remain similar to previous years with ticketholders able to take their pick of 17 participating wineries across 12 locations on the Bellarine and Moorabool Valley, but Day Two will now be held at one location – The Pier in Geelong.
Lucky ticketholders will enjoy a taste sensation from 17 local wine producers, with plenty of delicious food on offer and complimented by the smooth tones of live jazz bands at The Pier, during either a morning (11am-2pm) or afternoon session (3pm-6pm).
Tickets include an enviable Plumm glass to take home after enjoying free tastings from the region’s finest producers.
Another of Geelong’s iconic venues, Geelong Cellar Door, will be offering three exciting Masterclasses covering the region’s hero varietals in chardonnay, pinot noir and shiraz, all matched with a selection of delicious cheeses and charcuterie meats.
A seat in one of these classes will be hot property and is definitely not to be missed.
