No spuds at this supper dance

February 12, 2018 BY

THE cast and crew of the Finucane and Smith cabaret (above) are in Drysdale with their new work Dance Hall, kicking off the Potato Shed 2018 season this weekend. Like barn and bush dances of old, or salons from French cabarets to Irish pub concerts, Finucane and Smith’s Dance Hall was born out of Finucane and Smith’s deep engagement with regional and remote communities. Dance Hall is a supper dance, a bring-a-plate celebration, a storytelling and dance extravaganza, a transcendent night of song and dance. Running from 8pm-10pm this Friday and Saturday, tickets range between $30-$38 and can be purchased by phoning 5251 1998 or by visiting a City of Greater Geelong customer service centre.
