THE City of Greater Geelong, in partnership with the Women in Community Life Advisory Committee (WiCLAC), has announced the nominees for this year’s 2024 Women in Community Life Awards.

The annual awards, across seven categories, will be presented at the 2024 International Women’s Day event on Wednesday, March 8 at Wurriki Nyal.

They acknowledge the contribution women have made to the Greater Geelong community, and particularly the impact women have made to promote and advocate for the advancement of gender equality.

Geelong mayor Trent Sullivan applauded the nominees and thanked them for their contributions to the region.

“The nominations provide well-deserved recognition to the many women in Greater Geelong who have worked selflessly and made outstanding contributions to the community,” Cr Sullivan said.
