WHEN the mercury soars, there is one guaranteed way to keep things cool – head for the beach!

Ocean Grove residents took full advantage of the opportunity, leaping into the surf with abandon, and leaving the heat of the day behind.
As always, the volunteer lifeguards were on duty, keeping a watchful eye on beachgoers and making sure everyone stayed safe.
