OGFBC sponsors treated to a special lunch
LOYAL sponsors of Ocean Grove Football Netball Club attended a special luncheon at Shell Road Reserve Pavilion on the weekend.
The event attracted about 80 people on Saturday, with guests enjoying a two-course meal and drinks before Ocean Grove took on Drysdale at home on Ray Menzies Oval.
Unfortunately, the Grubbers lost to the Hawks by 13 points – 11.9.75 to 8.14.62.
Football coach Paul Lynch and netball coach Elyse Howard spoke about where the club was at and where it was heading, plus Ocean Grove paddle racer Jolyon Simpson spoke about his coming Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships.
OGFNC president Tony Potter said the luncheon was successful, and that the day and beautiful weather offered a great chance to showcase the club’s beautiful facilities.
