Painters put their brushes to work for next show

AFTER a successful show during Easter, the Barwon Heads Art Group is busy painting for its next show over the Melbourne Cup weekend.

The Easter Art Show, which was held at the Senior Citizens Centre from Good Friday March 30 to Monday April 2, featured 150 paintings in mediums of oil, acrylic and water colour.

“We are now painting for our next art show, which is on the Melbourne Cup weekend, so those who missed out on purchasing a painting have a second chance,” convenor Dorothy Van Dorp said.

“We would like to thank all those who attended the art show and are looking forward to seeing them again in the future.”
