GAWS chief executive officer Helen Cocks said excitement was high heading into the much-loved event.

“PAWS for GAWS is a vibrant celebration of our companion pets, our community, and our shared commitment to animal welfare in our region.

“We’re inviting the local community to register for the relaxed 4km PAWS for GAWS walk along the Geelong Waterfront, then join in the festivities at the PAW-TY Zone – there will be fun activities for the whole family including our four-legged friends.”
