Performer applications for Celtic festival closing soon
DUST off your kilt and fiddle case, the National Celtic Festival is back in Portarlington for more music and magic in 2018.
Held on the June long weekend, the winter event is regarded as Australia’s premier Celtic Festival and attracts more than 15,000 people to the region.
Festival organisers are now accepting performer applications from artists who specialise in traditional, contemporary or Australian Celtic folk genres.
The festival is aiming for a balance of content across the arts, and is looking for originality, diversity within the program, audience appeal, tradition, versatility, flexibility to perform in a variety of spaces/stages and affordability.
Also, special presentations or skills on offer, such as theme concerts, workshops, or hosting concerts.
