Players tee up to support veterans

New players registered to compete in this years’ tournament, which increased the competition.

THE fifth annual Drysdale RSL Sub-branch Remembrance Day Golf Day was held on recently at the Clifton Springs Golf Club.

New players registered to compete in this years’ tournament, which increased the competition and the enjoyment of the day.

A lovely morning of golf was followed by lunch at the Clifton Springs Golf Club, which was included in the cost of registration.

Many local businesses donated prizes and vouchers for the raffle, which was drawn after lunch.

There were many lucky and happy winners who won these prizes.

“Many thanks to the Clifton Springs Golf Club for providing the beautiful surroundings and great weather, and our sincere thanks are extended to these very generous businesses,” spokesperson Andrea Nisbet said.

“Their generosity is very much appreciated, and all monies raised from the day go towards assisting our very deserving local veterans.”

2nd – Paula Cochrane and Wendy McErvale
3rd – Julie Horne and Helen Beales

Men:
1st – Jackson Ristevski and Sam Loftus
2nd – Dave Mapleson and Pat Fahy
3rd – David Benham and Paul Johnson
