Police seek information after shooting

A Corio man has escaped injury after a shot was fired into a home in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police are investigating the incident, which occurred at a Wyoming Avenue property at about 3.30am on 13 June.

It is believed a man driving a dark-coloured SUV fired a single shot into the home before fleeing the scene.

The 29-year-old was inside the property at the time but was not injured.

Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted attack.

The investigation remains ongoing.
